The Beef Box by Mocatta Creek Beef is a new addition to the existing operation of breeding and producing beef cattle. CoBright was tasked with creating and launching an e-commerce storefront and developing a strong and resilient brand to promote the product.

When LNR Cattle first approached CoBright, they aimed to launch a standout boxed beef brand to thrive in a competitive market. CoBright took on their project to build a functional, user-friendly e-commerce store that positioned their beef as premium and high-quality. 

We helped the business develop a clear brand to effectively position their product by creating a cohesive digital presence that showcased what services and products were on offer. To launch a new product range successfully, they required a comprehensive e-commerce and branding solution.

Our digital marketing team researched to find the most searched keywords associated with an online beef store, which led to the creation of the ‘Beef Box’ by Mocatta Creek Beef.

The challenge of this project was two-fold—CoBright needed to create a sturdy and appealing storefront for online customers to purchase the product. We also needed to guide a growing business in its new e-commerce operation with confidence and clarity.

The Solution

 

With CoBright’s consultation, the Beef Box domain was purchased and the site was configured around this concept, with Shopify’s ‘local delivery feature’ implemented to map out Mocatta’s delivery catchment (Darling Downs, Gold Coast, and Brisbane).

Our content team worked with Mocatta Creek Beef to tell the story of their cattle, land, and the superior eating quality of their Angus X Speckle Park beef. This positioning enables customers to understand the value of this product when compared to the average supermarket cut. 

CoBright also facilitated the use of a fixed pricing strategy on the e-commerce site, enabling customers to make their purchases quickly without waiting for a quote from Mocatta. 

Professional imagery and video of the property, beef, and the plated product were captured and tailored to the website’s design. Paired with standout product descriptions (detailing specific cuts and eating quality), the Mocatta website offers customers a vivid insight into the background of their purchase and the potential it holds as a luxury food item.

The Outcome

 

From the outset, CoBright helped Mocatta Creek Beed shape their new business by selecting a searchable, on-brand name—the Beef Box. This research-backed decision ensures that customers can easily find and understand the brand and their product offering.

Our knowledge of marketing strategy, alongside a customised Shopify build, has prepared Mocatta for a solid launch into e-commerce. By the time the site was launched, the business was fully prepared to commence sales and delivery of its premium selection of beef cuts.

CoBright also increased the site’s search optimisation with the addition of FAQs, which educate customers about basic elements of the product such as delivery times, package size, storage conditions and more.

By incorporating custom content with the story of Mocatta Beef, the site tells the story from paddock-to-plate. It offers customers a range of options, all of which are a cut above what they can find in their local chain of supermarkets.
