CoBright partnered with Support Finder to develop and design a website that provides up-to-date contacts, relevant resources and services for families and individuals in the Darling Downs and Western Downs regions who are dealing with traumatic, critical and stressful situations and environments.
The Challenge
Starting with a trifold card in 2017, Support Finder is a not-for-profit initiative that connects at-risk individuals and families with support services for their situation.
The Support Finder card has been endorsed by Queensland Police, Safer Toowoomba Regional Partnerships Inc (STRP), Suicide Prevention Network, Lifeline Darling Downs, Toowoomba Regional Council and several other support agencies.
Facing the expensive costs of printing a custom-sized card with information that didn’t stay up-to-date, and linking to a PDF that was not mobile-friendly, Support Finder was looking to expand its reach.
Support Finder came to CoBright to build a website that offered easy access and support for those going through a crisis in the region in a simple-to-update and expandable way.
The Solution
After meeting with Support Finder and uncovering the limitations that existed with the current Support Finder card format, CoBright devised a plan to build a website that would provide those dealing with stressful situations with a range of up-to-date contacts, relevant resources and services.
As a resource for crisis response, CoBright developed a website design and concept to calmly communicate the best service to support individuals and families in traumatic situations.
Our website design concept presented Support Finder’s services in an easy-to-use, filterable and responsive way to enable individuals to find services for their situation quickly and easily.
The Outcome
Working closely with representatives from Support Finder, our content specialists and designers delivered a site that is calming, supportive and easy to use.
Support Finder can now provide a broader range of support services to at-risk individuals in a filterable and responsive manner. The site is easy to maintain, allowing for more services to be added in the future.
Plus, Support Finder no longer needs to rely on expensive, custom-sized printed brochures, instead utlising standard business cards with a QR code that takes users straight to the site—enabling them to print more cards and provide people at risk an avenue to get support quickly from their pocket.
