Wheew! What a year 2023 has been for CoBright Marketing.
With a rebrand, new staff joining the team, winning a Business Excellence Award, and more, it’s safe to say this year has been eventful, so here is a recap of our 2023.

CoBright's Rebranding
After splitting Clevvi’s marketing and web design services into its own business in late 2022, we took the exciting step of rebranding to CoBright Marketing in February.
We celebrated this exciting moment with our colleagues and peers at the Downs Club, unveiling our new name, look, and website. Taking this step allowed us to continue looking forward, providing a more focused service.
Welding with DCISIV
While our team enjoyed working with a range of clients, we particularly had fun putting our welding skills to the test and trying DCISIV’s cobot welding tools.
Each of our team members put the robot welder to the test, programming a letter of our logo for it to weld. DCISIV Director and Co-Founder Ben Leamon, provided a demo and a helping hand using the cobot welder.
Welcome Nathan, Paige & Sean
We also saw some exciting new additions to our team: Nathan, Paige and Sean (me!).
Technically joining the team at the end of 2022, I came on board as a Content Specialist after my four-year career as a journalist. Since starting at CoBright, I have learnt a lot about marketing and web design, expanding my skills as a communicator.
In August, we welcomed Graphic Designer & Web Developer, Nathan, to our team. Having worked 20 years in graphic design, Nathan’s experience has seen him work in print media, develop interactive content, responsive website design and development, and various forms of advertising.
With web development and graphic design work increasing, we brought on another designer to our ranks, Paige. Interested in UX/UI design, contemporary art, and elevating brands via quality design, Paige brings passion and enthusiasm to her work.

QCF Philanthropy Awards
We had the pleasure and the honour of being named a finalist for the Queensland Community Foundation’s Philanthropy Awards in June.
Our team prides itself on giving back to the community, providing our skills as marketers and web developers to support community groups and events such as RASQ’s Toowoomba Royal Show, the Historic Leyburn Sprints, Support Finder and more.
We were grateful to be named as a finalist in the Queensland-wide awards ceremony among the fantastic individuals and businesses that are helping Queenslanders every day.
FarmFest
This year saw the CoBright team don their brand new, super warm CoBright attire to brave what must be the only temperate FarmFest on record.
Our first time exhibiting, FarmFest was a great opportunity to catch up with our agribusiness clients in the field and everyone else who wanted to know more about our marketing and web design services.
Leyburn Sprints
Building the Leyburn Sprints’ website last year, we continue to support the event as a Platinum Sponsor, helping them with website updates, ticketing system, site booking, and online raffles.
Working with the Sprints team, we were able to enjoy an action-packed day with our Marketing Account Manager, Caitlin, getting a Hot Lap around the track in a Radical SR3-RSX with Paul Stokell behind the wheel.

TCoC Emerging Leaders Program
The youngest members of the CoBright team undertook the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Leaders Mentor Program which links young professionals with business owners to provide insights into a range of disciplines and aspects of business.
The program features six workshops with key speakers aimed at encouraging leadership, upskilling, and empowering young professionals. Overall, it was a great personal development opportunity for our team.
Gareth celebrates 20 years in Web Design
This year we celebrated Gareth’s 20 years in web design and development. Throughout his career, Gareth has seen web development transition from basic webpages information with no art direction to websites that provide a comprehensive experience, incorporating directional design, user interaction and more.
Business Excellence Awards
October 2023 saw our team announced as the winner of the 2023 Focus HR Business Excellence Awards for the Professional Services for 10 Employees & Under category. Winning this award was an amazing acknowledgment of the hard work we have done since launching as CoBright
2024 and Beyond
Looking over the past 12 months, it’s no wonder why it has felt like a massive year for us, but after a much-deserved Christmas break, we’ll be right back at it with our noses to the grindstone.
