The Challenge

Formidable Forklifts approached CoBright for a strategic website redevelopment. Servicing a nationwide customer base, the company had undergone a major shift since their last site build. No longer selling directly to the general public, Formidable Forklifts had focused primarily on B2B sales, sourcing brand-owned forklifts and wholesaling them to dealers across Australia.

The existing website no longer reflected this business model. The messaging was too broad, leading to unnecessary enquiries from individuals outside their target audience. It also lacked functionality to enhance the company’s new processes and plans for growth.

A major challenge for CoBright to tackle was market reach. Formidable Forklifts operated out of a single Melbourne facility, while aiming to attract dealer enquiries from across the country. Strong search rankings outside of their physical location were essential to their success. 

Our team was enlisted to put together a carefully planned website combining precise messaging, technical integration, and SEO optimisation.

The Solution

CoBright reconfigured the website from top to bottom, focusing on three core objectives: clear B2B positioning, seamless technical integration, and strong search visibility across Australia.

  1. Refined messaging and clear calls to action 
    A new homepage and targeted content were created specifically for forklift dealers. Professional, dealer-focused copy highlighted the advantages of working with Formidable Forklifts, while the main call to action encouraged dealers to join the mailing list. 
    By subscribing, dealers gained exclusive access to regularly updated product listings for high-demand stock. The obvious drawcard for potential customers was clear – sign up so you don’t miss out!
  2. AssetEx integration to streamline operations
    Our development team integrated the website directly with AssetX, a dealer management system widely used across Australia. This eliminated the need for double-handling of inventory. 
    Instead of staff manually adding listings to the AssetEx system and the website, data now flows seamlessly between the two. This reduces admin hours and ensures that listings stay accurate and up to date.

  3. Nationwide SEO strategy

    Our technique ensured that if a dealer in, for example, Adelaide searched for “second-hand Toyota forklifts Adelaide,” the relevant landing page appeared prominently in search results. By aligning Google Ads campaigns with these location-specific pages, Formidable Forklifts increased their digital relevance and the potential for conversions.
    The website design also incorporated long-term SEO health by pairing keyword-optimised content with user-driven traffic. Email campaigns and social media posts directed audiences back to the site, further strengthening its authority in Google’s eyes.
