Historic Leyburn Sprints
The Historic Leyburn Sprints is one of Queensland’s significant annual motoring events, which hosts a weekend of races and shows.
As first-time sponsors of the event, CoBright curated a contemporary, easy-to-navigate website to anchor information, registrations, campsite bookings, and future online marketing campaigns.
The existing website failed to convey the fun experience and atmosphere attendees would have at the event, with key information buried in a warren of pages. Ticketing, vehicle registrations and campsite bookings were manually managed by pen and paper - a labour intensive process.
CoBright updated the site’s design, emphasising the excitement of the event by embedding a video loop of what spectators can expect to see.
With functionality at the core of the build, the CoBright team integrated the Eventbrite online booking system to manage ticket registrations, competitor registrations, and campsite bookings. This allowed users to quickly navigate the website with ease while also streamlining the previously manual processes to purchase tickets, book camping or register vehicles.
The Leyburn Sprints now have a dynamic website that shows users what they can expect at the event. Integrating the Eventbrite system into the new site allows the organisers to easily manage and collect data on ticketing, camping reservations and registrations to drive future decision making and streamline event processes.
As part of our marketing efforts, CoBright conducted a Google Ads campaign which engaged audiences from Toowoomba, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and more, driving traffic to the new site whilst boosting online sales. The strategic online advertising campaign saw 2.3K clicks via the online advertising in the lead up to the Leyburn Sprints.
