Vater Machinery came to coBright looking for a custom built website that integrated AssetEx and automated manual processes.
The Challenge
AssetEx is an online inventory management system that provides equipment dealerships in transport, agriculture, earthmoving, mining, material handling and marine industries with the tools to manage stock,listings and more.
Coming to coBright, Vater Machinery was already using the AssetEx dealer management system to manage their stock and listings but it wasn’t integrated with their previous website. This meant website listings had to be loaded manually which was a time consuming process.
While looking at integrating AssetEx within the new website, Vater Machinery took the opportunity to have the website redesigned and automatic generation of product brochures from online listings developed.

Working with Vater Machinery, we understood their business process which led to the design and development of their new website that seamlessly integrated AssetEx.
By analysing business processes before we started working on their website, we were able to identify an opportunity for greater efficiencies in Vater Machinery’s daily tasks.
This included automatic generation of a high-quality product brochure through information and photos available in the website listings; eliminating the need for Vater to create product brochures separately offline for each piece of equipment listed for sale.
The Outcome
Collaborating with the coBright team, Vater Machinery now has a great looking website with a modern and easy-to-use interface for users to navigate listings, services and information.
Thanks to the integration of AssetEx, their administration team no longer need to spend time manually loading listings to their site, which saves around 30 minutes per listing or 6 to 10 hours per month. The automatic generation of product brochures allows Vater Machinery and website users to generate PDFs which can be printed.
Visitors to the new website have increased by 60% since it was launched, with organic traffic making up the majority of total visitors
