August 2024

2024 is racing by, but we’re doing our best to keep up with it!

CoBright’s calendar filled up quickly for August, and our team has clocked up some miles across the country, meeting clients, industry peers and connecting with like-minded businesses across the country.

Check out some of the highlights from the past few weeks:

Cotton Conference, Gold Coast | 5-8 August

Brendan and Caitlin attended to support the brand relaunch of PTx Trimble. This event was their debut with a new look, colour scheme and some fresh merch to go along with it! Giveaways included the crowd pleaser Yeti coolers, along with caps and shirts to match.

We spent some valuable time with the PTx Trimble team and reconnected with some of their dealer partners such as Vantage BMS and Vantage NSW.

Brendan caught up with Ben Law (host of AgriCoach by The Financial Bloke), who featured Brendan as a podcast guest earlier this year. Ben led an insightful discussion on cultivating for the future with families, which CoBright was able to attend and take away some pearls of wisdom.

Other #cottoncon attendees included Alvan Blanch Australia, who just launched their new CoBright-built site, and Plant & Pick Spares, who trade using an ecommerce platform built by our team.

Booroomooka Bull Sale, Inverell | 15-16 August

Brendan and Caitlin hit the road to visit another website and marketing client, based just outside of Inverell. You can check out the Booroomooka case study to learn more about our recent collaboration with the 98-year-old Angus stud.

This visit was to check out the annual Booroomooka Bull Sale, which we also played a part in. CoBright managed the marketing campaign and social media leading up to this year’s sale, and it was great to be there in person for the main event. Attending in person has given us even bigger and better ideas for 2025 - stay tuned for the next development!

Historic Leyburn Sprints, Leyburn | 17-18 August

It’s not just Brendan and Caitlin getting out and about this month – Nate and Joel were eager to join in the fun!

CoBright has worked with the Historic Leyburn Sprints on several different projects, including a website build, digital marketing and as a sponsor of the long-standing event.

This year the boys volunteered to represent us trackside, taking full advantage of the VIP tickets that come with our sponsorship package.

We’re proud to be involved with such a unique local event and enjoy being involved both behind the scenes and on the ground.

AgQuip, Gunnedah | 20-22 August

This was our first year attending AgQuip, and we thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days spent exploring Australia’s largest primary industry field day.

We saw plenty of familiar faces including Bourgault Australia, Vantage NSW, PTx Trimble, and Control Unlimited and met lots of fellow agricultural professionals from a range of occupations.

Brendan and Caitlin were spoilt for choice by the array of products and services on display, with over 3000 exhibits attending AgQuip this year. Events like these field days are a great opportunity for us to see what agriculture is up to, what growers and producers are seeking, and identifying how CoBright can make ourselves useful to our ag clients.

3R Beef Bull Sale, Tamworth | 21 August

Not one, but two bull sales were on the event schedule for this month! Brendan and Caitlin made the journey to Goonoo Goonoo Station near Tamworth to attend the 3R Beef Annual Sale.

We just launched their new CoBright website alongside managing the sale’s marketing campaign for co-founder, Geoff Birchnell. You can read more about the 3R website build here

We also caught up again with Ben Law (The Financial Bloke), who featured Brendan as a podcast guest earlier in the year – listen here. Ben attends the sale each year to host a live podcast for the sale attendees, discussing key topics from the beef industry.

We were pleased to see such a strong turnout at this year's sale, and putting faces to names after working with the business from our base in Toowoomba for the past few months.

It’s a pleasure to be a part of the events we help market, and to see the owner and customer satisfaction from a job well done.

We’re grateful to be able to attend such a diverse and interesting range of events as part of our work. We enjoy the opportunity to see our work behind the scenes fall into place for our clients. Thanks to everyone involved with this hectic month – we’ll be ready for September any minute now!
